1. Educational content only
Boston Diabetes publishes this website to explain the services available at its outpatient clinic in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, and to describe, in general terms, how diabetes and its complications are evaluated. Nothing on this website is medical advice for any individual. Reading a page, downloading a document or sending an enquiry does not create a doctor and patient relationship. That relationship begins only when a registered medical practitioner at the clinic has taken your history and examined you.
2. Test results and symptoms
Pages on this website mention blood and urine markers such as HbA1c, glucose, creatinine, eGFR, urine albumin and ACR, thyroid function tests, blood pressure readings, and symptoms such as burning, tingling, numbness, weight change or slow-healing wounds. These descriptions explain what a test measures or what a symptom can mean in general. They cannot tell you what your own result or symptom means.
- A single result is not a diagnosis. Results need to be read together, over time and alongside your history.
- A result within the normal range does not rule out a condition, and a result outside it does not confirm one.
- Only a registered medical practitioner who has reviewed your reports and examined you can interpret them.

Descriptions of what an evaluation covers describe the process of care, not its result. Where a page describes a treatment approach, it describes options that may be considered; what is appropriate for you is decided in consultation.
5. Tests and devices
Where a page mentions a test or a device, such as a nerve conduction check, it describes a tool that may be used when clinically appropriate. Tests are chosen for each person by the treating consultant. Not every patient needs every test, and no test replaces a clinical examination.
6. Doctors, services and referrals
The doctors named on this website practise at the clinic with the qualifications shown. Their availability varies, and an appointment with a specific doctor is confirmed only by the clinic. Boston Diabetes is an outpatient clinic. Some needs described on this website, such as surgery, dialysis, transplantation, hospital admission or emergency care, are met by referral to other specialists or hospitals; the relevant pages say so where this applies. Boston Diabetes also has a US-based Clinical Advisory Board for protocol review. Advisory members are not treating clinicians and do not see patients.

The enquiry form, the telephone number and the WhatsApp link on this website are for requesting an appointment or asking about the clinic. They are not for medical advice, urgent problems or the review of reports. Please do not send medical reports, images or medical details through the form or over WhatsApp; bring them to your visit. The clinic aims to respond during its opening hours but cannot guarantee a response time, and a message sent outside those hours may not be seen until the clinic opens.
